Venus Viva

Venus Viva is known as the new gold standard in aesthetic medicine. The Venus Viva is a non-invasive and effective treatment that stimulates fibroblasts in the skin to make new collagen, while simultaneously tightening the existing collagen to improve skin laxity, texture, lines and wrinkles.

Many people desire the effects of full skin resurfacing for fine lines, wrinkles and acne scarring, but hesitate due to the downtime and cost. Venus Viva was created to fill the need for the desirable results of fractional CO2  resurfacing but without the downtime, pain and cost.

Due to the unique technology of Venus Viva, the majority of the ablation from the procedure occurs under the skin, as sublative rejuvenation, allowing for less downtime for the patient, less surface skin removal, and better results than treatments done with traditional fractional lasers.

How does it work?

The Venus Viva is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment with immediate and long-term results. This technology combines nano fractional radiofrequency and one of a kind SmartScan technology. The SmartScan hand piece sends multiple fractional radiofrequency (RF) currents into the skin using patented scanner technology. This scanner allows for more uniform and safe delivery of energy.

How many Venus Viva treatments will I need?

Results can be seen after just one treatment. A total of 3 to 4 treatments of the Venus Viva are recommended and are done at 4 week intervals. Maintenance treatments to retain benefits once or twice a year can be beneficial as aging is an ongoing process.

What is the Venus Viva best suited to treat?
  • Fine lines, wrinkles and surface irregularities of the skin
  • Acne scars
  • Pigment irregularities such as sun damage and brown spots
  • Loose skin
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Skin redness
Is the treatment safe for all skin types?

The Venus Viva is safe for both men and for all skin types regardless of color.

What can I expect during a Venus Viva treatment?

The 15 minute fractional Venus Viva procedure involves using a topical anesthetic cream, which is applied 30 minutes before the treatment. Immediately after the treatment, the skin will be red and warm which will resolve in a few hours. Some patients will experience a mild sunburn sensation and redness post treatment, which will generally subside within 36 hours.
